Our Values

Our values make our vision real in our everyday lives. They guide us to make decisions concerning the ways we invest our lives. At Trinity Community Church (TCC), this means we work hard to belong, grow and serve.

Belong (Building Community)

By belong, we mean living out our Christian experience with others to whom we are vitally joined in relationships characterized by honesty, transparency and accountability.

The transforming Gospel of Jesus provides the basis for how we build community. Living life together is a fundamental part of church life where believers form deep relationships with other believers. We belong to each other and see our lives in relationship to others.

Grow (Make Disciples)

By grow, we mean maturing in our knowledge, character and abilities so that the kingdom of God is increased. At TCC, we do this in two main ways.

First, our leaders serve God’s people by equipping them to become all that God has called them to be (see Ephesians 4:11-12). The main goal of our pastors and ministry leaders is not to do the work, but to enable others to do the work. TCC has a long heritage of making disciples through Bible teaching, training and mentoring; it is a place where you will grow in Christ.

Second, we work at connecting believers into discipling groups (House Churches, discipling triads and one-to-one) so that the body can build itself up and we can mutually encourage each other to growth in Christ.

Serve (Fulfilling His Mission)

By serve, we mean learning to operate in our unique gifts and callings in order to make the body of Christ stronger and to extend the love of God to others outside the church.

The Mission of every believer is to share the Gospel. This is not reserved for ministers, but a privileged responsibility we all participate in. Each of us is called to have influence beyond the church by sharing the Gospel with friends, family, work associates and neighbors.

TCC also invests in strategic events aimed at reaching those who have not yet heard the gospel. There are many opportunities throughout the year to serve His mission through House Churches and Ministries to awaken hearts to the gospel.
